Municipal Manager

Mr. Langa Thibini is the Acting Municipal Manager for Westonaria Local Municipality, as the chief accounting officer for the council.

The office of the municipal manager provides a key strategic link between the administration, the council and the community. In terms of accountability, the municipal manager is responsible for all income and expenditure, all assets and the discharge of all liabilities of the council as well as proper and diligent compliance with the applicable municipal finance management legislation.
