Libraries in Westonaria aim to strengthen the provision of library and information services to the community of greater Westonaria.

The municipalityassists the provincial government in providing a preventative, curative and rehabilitative service to the community and thus assist in ensuring that all residents receive adequate primary health care services.

Westonaria does not have its own bus service. The bus services available are used by mining companies to transport mine workers to and from the various mining residential complexes.
