Consultation meetings between Westonaria Local Municipality and its stakeholders are underway to engage them through the newly proposed municipal boundaries and merger of West Rand to form a Metro and hear what their views are regarding the proposal.

Member of the Public are hereby invited for registration / application of Gym Membership in order to live a healthy lifestyle. The gym already has fully functional equipments and or facilities and other resources required for development of sport, nation building and social cohesion.

Open Weekends for registration / application of Gym Membership will be on:

Saturday, 21 February 2015 from 08:00 – 12:00

Saturday, 28 February 2015 from 08:00 – 15:00

Venue: Simunye Gymnasium in Extension 5

NB: Members of the public are required to bring their ID document / Drivers licence / Birth Certificates for minors.

The gym will open on 02 March for operations.

Council improving its Customer Care Services

Westonaria Local Municipality has embarked on an undertaking to improve its customer services in general.

Do you have a complaint or are you dissatisfied about services in your area? Please inform the municipality about this. Your complaint could be about anything regarding waste collection in your area, potholes, broken street lights, water deficiency or anything regarding lack of services in your area.

You will always receive feedback to your complaint within 48 hours and the Customer Care Employees will communicate with a complainant until his or her problem is fixed.

meanwhile, residents of Greater Westonaria and business people are urged to welcome FEM Research Consulting and Municipality employees to conduct a research in the area around March 2015 regarding their feelings towards service delivery offered by council. They will be asked to add inputs on how to improve municipality services.
